Afternoon y'all,

Another fine day in So. Germany (read: it didn't rain today). Found a little beater BMW for sale for $200 and it only needs a couple minor things to be ready to roll again. I sure do miss B.E.R.T. but I am sure glad I don't have to look for a parking spot for it.

I will have to find a picture of one of these little cars they drive around here called a SMART car. No kidding, the thing will fit in a long bed (with room to spare).
I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I saw one of these large go-carts whizzing down the Autobahn at 85-90 mph. Hit a mosquito and you have just totalled your car .

Enjoy the day ... it's time for a fresh beer (probably brewed yesterday ).

Pistolwhipt almost had it right, it is warmer today in S Germany, about 52 F, light rain showers where we are at. Not bad. Leaving Wed 5/11 at 0700 from Nuremberg. Got a lot to do when we get back to Sedro Woolley, WA. Sign papers on selling house, moving stuff.
Weekend, going to babysit grandaughter in Bend OR. Hope to have all the gages working, and Quadzilla chip in. Be a gud test run.
take care

Hi gang,
We are in Regina, SK, Canada. Colder here too, SH. -1 tonight in Canuck talk. Snowing like 5" in Calgary right now and still coming down. And I left warm Florida for this??? Let's see - - Calgary is west of me - - Hmmmm. And I head west in the morning. HMMMMM???????

Truck running great - - put on 3000 miles all ready. Everything perking good. Averaged 12.2 mph so far and the fiver is loaded to gills for 5 months of on the road, so that isn't bad.

Be in touch when we can get INET connection. Ya'll be good.

Sure, I'm always interested in saving some $$$.
The less $$$ I have to spend on "Her" vacation, the more $$$$ I can spend on stuff for the truck.

Well, it sounds like FiverBob is enjoying his trip up north. I'm surprised he wasn't hemmed up for all the warm weather comments he made last winter (hehehe ... stir the pot Pistol, Stir the pot !!) I made it to Alaska one and it was very pretty !!!

Hey, any of you military types ever use the military hops to Europe ? I am trying to interpret the Space-A book that we picked up a while ago and it reads like stereo instructions. I need to get the how-2 on flying my wife and 4 kids from Missouri to Stuttgart (preferably NOT on a cargo plane). I think the Patriot Express is no longer running ?!

Enjoy the day,
PISTOL

If it wasn't for Bob and Doug McKenzie, I'd have no idea what you were talking about.

Took me forever to find out what a Touque was though.
