Congrats Timinva 500+ on the dyno!

Today in Paris Kentucky, David Dunbar had his Dynojet setup.

A Duramax did 490hp and 800+ft lbs first dyno of the day.
DTR's own Timinva broke 518hp and 900+ft lbs Congrats!!
A 12 valve dodge from KY hit 501hp and 1088 ft lbs.
I hit 462hp and 951ft lbs ;D

I left before all the trucks could dyno,

Justin,

Sounds like everyone had some fun. Seems like the CF was low or even perhaps negative some today. You are generally in the 500HP range and Tim's numbers are not quite right either.

Can you tell me the weather conditions today?

Glad eveyone had a good time.

Don~

Tim- When you get a minute give me a yell.

Re:Congrats Timinva 500+ on the dyno!

The turnout was great today.
The weather was overcast most of the day 55 ~ 60 deg.
Humidity was high .
Thought it would rain with the clouds but none came.

thanks to all who came out and made this a sucsess.

Re:Congrats Timinva 500+ on the dyno!

Don,
I think its hard to load up twins enough to get the top spool out of them on the dynojet.

Tim said he was getting mid 50's psi on the dyno and on the street pegging the 60psi guage, he was also still messing with the wastegate.
He mentioned something about not wanting to walk home to Virginia! ;D

I was very happy with my numbers for the mods I have, especially my torque number. A similarly modded truck only did in the mid 800's on torque a couple months back .

Anyhow, a nice day overall!

Oh yeah I remember that he was wanting to keep his wastegate set low because the headgasket is still stock.
Perhaps o-rings and port work is in the future for Tim.

Re:Congrats Timinva 500+ on the dyno!

It did only pull about 55 lbs of boost but didnt want to twist it to high. Don, It did 357hp on just injectors. Big thanks to Justin for allowing me to test his Drag Comp and for the guys in Ky for putting on a great event. P.s. still got almost 19mpg through the mountains in West Va. Tim

Re:Congrats Timinva 500+ on the dyno!

Congrats Tim. We had a blast. There were like 40 or more trucks that dynoed. I will post the numbers today if I get a chance. Great turnout. After some people who came in off the street to watch, they bought a couple of the used diesel trucks right off the lot. Wow!!!!! More CTD owners among us.

Tim,

What did the drag comp do compared to the TST PM3? Im very curious. We used both boxes and the TST worked well on the single charger trucks, but I am wondering how they fair on the twin set ups.

490hp for the Duramax is what the board said.

Re:Congrats Timinva 500+ on the dyno!

Darn, I guess I am just getting started! I was hoping to be around 300 / 650 rear wheel with the injectors and the TST. Guess I have a way to go!!
