Runamuk, why would that be a problem? People on GlockTalk.com publically discuss said items openly..

Well, on Tuesday I took the first step. I picked me up a Taurus PT92, signed up for the class on the first. When I told a few close friends of mine, it turns out that alot of them concealed carry, and I had no clue what so ever. It's like a secret sorority... like in "Eyes Wide Shut" but not nearly as exciting. Just wondered how many fellow DTR members concealed carry? I plan on picking up a Springfield XD 3" when I actually get my CHL. The guy at the gun store was amazed, my background check was the fastest of any he's ever done in 20-some years. He literally walked to his office, and was back saying "Well, you're not a felon... whatcha want." less than 60 seconds later. I hope the actual licence is on the low-side of the waiting period.
It's almost next to impossible to get a permit here in Commie-fornia. I'm sure there.s some exceptions such as people in business who carry cash to the bank, etc.. But for the most part...NOT! My brother-in-law has a permit but he lives in a town of 2500 and knows the Sheriff, etc..

I usually carry my Springfield Armory Compact .45 sometimes my Charter Arms Bulldog .38. I hate to go any smaller than a .38 cal. for personal defense I would hate to have to beat someone to death with the gun My dad carries a S&W Scandium .357 weighs about 12oz. I had rather shoot that .500mag allday as shoot that lite 357 twice it hurts!

I only carry a concealed weapon 3 days a week......guess which 3........feel lucky?
So why post on this thread at all then with the rest of us idiots?

Freehand or on a bench rest??

Man....you're either a natural born shooter or a natural born fisherman. I've fired thousands and thousands of rounds down range AND gone through some pretty good schools of training. My 25 yard groups are usually in the 5" to 6" range. If you're shooting 1" groups at 25 yards without a bench then you need to seriously consider competition shooting. You'd beat some of the world's best shooters.

You're obviously not from around here are ya!

Currently in the San Francisco area there is a drive to ban all firearms in S.F. County.

If it happens there it could happen here!

So I do not even own a wrist rocket

Hoss, I'll take a picture of one of the targets. At 150 rounds (I'm at over 2,500.. **** this gets expensive) it was benchshot. Freehand currently my groups are about 4" with the Taurus, and about 6" with the G19, I blame the slick grip. I put a peice of innertube inside out on the grip, and it helped only slightly, if not by a measurable amount, but it's nicer to shoot now. And yes, I love e-fishing, just not here

I really need to work on my fast-fire @ 25yd, I can put them all on the shillouette, but 16 rounds in 5 seconds (rofl... I know) someone's gonna be missing a gonad, a few fingers, and a shoulder

That's some pretty good shooting for a noobie.

When you think you're good, try running for cover and shooting at a moving target at the same time.

Yeah that stinks, I used to live around the Stockton area and escaped about eight years ago.
I am really glad to be out of there, we have our problems here but at least now I get cheap tags for the cars, no state income tax and at least for the time being the right to carry.
But who knows some day they'll try and goof that up too.
