Thanks for the advise... i had an arrow nocked, right when i hit the release the cable guard slide broke and knocked the arrow off the string so it essentially dry fired. i took it into a mathews dealer and had it checked out and tuned. also had them put on the new slide since i was there. all in all it cost me 5 bucks!!! its a smaller archery shop but the guys there are awesome! oh and the limbs and string were still good with very little sign of wear on the string, the limbs were still in excellent shape. they also have an indoor range for $8 a day and they will help me out with further tuning and advise.
