trying to help a nurse where I work but I dont know anything about a chevy gasser, she has a 06 1500 v8 5.3 (I thinking) its the bigger v8 they offer. anyways looking for a good sounding dual exhaust system for it. cat back due to the emission gunk. she isn't afraid of loud just wants something sounding good. thanks for the advice if you have it.

 

I have had great luck with the flowmaster cat back or magnaflow. both are quality and EASY install

 

I had a Flowmaster 50 series (single 3" in/out) on my 5.7 that I was happy with.

My neighbor down the street has a nice sounding K1500 and I'll see if I can flag him down next time he drives by and see what he has on his.

 

thanks should look at their website. she does want duals. most likely can be true duals due to newer vehicle and the emission crap. but I will look. thanks.

 

I got some NICE MBRP side or rear facing dual kits in both Stainless and Aluminum that I can make a good deal on for the chevy's. Need to find out if it is the 5.3l or the 6.0l though
