Cell phone screen

Anybody know if I can polish the scratches out of my cell phone's screen? They are relatively minor but its getting hard to see text's. I hate having to replace it with a newer phone and having to relearn all the buttons. Any sugg's?

it wont help you now but I always put a strip of packaging/clear tape across the screen then replace the tape when it starts to get torn an not so sticky, screens look new for years....

depending on model of phone, you can order a new screen off ebay, fairly easy to replace.

Its a casio G'one. Its rugged enough to hold up to dirt and moisture and I relly like the phone but the little bumper nubs have worn down and the keys have rubbed dull spots on the screen. I wish I thought of what World said, I still have some old snow ski protector film that would've worked perfectly per his suggestion. Thanks TX, i'll check out e-bay!

What about exchanging it out for another one with your provider?..... Like an INS claim... (i forgot what cell companies call it....)
I had to do it with my treo when the screen went fuzzy and couldnt read it. Called ATT they sent me a reburished one, and a box to send my old one back... They no longer insure PDA phones...

use Mothers plastic polish. The stuff works good but is time consuming.

Maybe some real fine rubbing compound and a soft wrag, rub it by hand and see if it helps. It works on other plastic windows and old car tailights that have faded.

i had an old "candy bar" style phone that ended up in my pocket with a folded piece of paper and e few hours later i couldn't read anything on the screen. I just waxed it with the hard coat turtle wax. the scratches were still there but everything was readable. I think i put 2 or 3 coats on it.

When you get it fixed, you can find screen protectors and rubber cases cheap on E-bay.
