One day buddy. One of the guys I work with is a MGySgt and he will be at the one in California. I assume it is at CPP. One day I'll be there though

i wore one of my old uniforms (the coveralls we wore underway) to weed eat in last week, still has patches embroidered on it, it was used for painting inport.

the wife came out, said "you look tough & sexy, you might get lucky"

methinks to myself "maybe she got her stuff packed, and is MOVING OUT!!"

I am lucky that I have birthdays in Nov, one on the 10th and the other on the 25th. Even my 6 year old understand my 2 birthdays, Semper Fi, Carry On.

Me being a Seabee, we normally only attend the Seabee ball. When I was in Afghanistan in 2002 I was invited to attend the Marine Corp Ball there. It was being thrown by MACS 4. Normally they do the cake cutting with the sword, but being in the warzone everyone was in Cammies. They used a M-16 with affixed bayonet to cut the cake. It was truly impressive. Normally the Sailors and Marines are busting each others *****, but that was one time I was proud to have Marine brothers.
