Better bring a fuel can if you want to test drive this truck. <br>Notice the fuel guage is all the way in the red and the fuel light is on.<br>The truck is drinking fuel from the bottom of the tank where all the grime usually sits.<br><br>New owner should probably invest in a new fuel filter soon after purchasing.

I was thinking the pic could have been taken when the key is just turned on----<br>or the sending unit is bunk- <br><br> there is no way someone would be that foolish to run it that low ???

could just be a fluke (though i really doubt it). every once in a while mine will go right to nothing. if i turn the key on and off a couple tiems it'll come back, or i just wait and it'll come back in a while. stupid sending units : <br><br>Tom

I would bet my next paycheck that the fuel sender is bad. Mine 94 stayed like that all the time, full or empty.
