Did that compressor come off of the USS Monitor?
The pulley looks like it's 200 years old......

Probably more like 60 yrs old......That's how old the tank is anyway.

Off topic a bit, but I have an old Craftsman Compressor that is serial #359 or somewhere near that. It's in pretty good shape, but I don't think I want to trust it's tank. It was enclosed in my dad's workbench for the 35+ years but wasn't new when it was put in there. It had never had it's tank drained, ever. When I dug it out, the 11 gallon tank was almost all the way full. It took me nearly a week to get all the water out as the little hole in the bottom kept getting clogged with large rust flakes.
