The Breakroom (Come in for a cup of hot coffee) 01.31.10-02.06.10

Evening Everyone, time for new breakroom. Someone make sure Claude gets in here, don't want him causing trouble in the old breakroom when no one is around.

Got plenty of beverages for all and some 2 day old donuts. Watch the donuts they are mean tonight. The Dragon got into someones leftovers and now is really breathing fire tonight, watch out.

If you're a glutton for punishment.... jump in. I'll save the warnings, you'll figure it out.

Yeah I saw your question, I can't help you with it though. Never been around a Citroen. Oh yeah, watch out for the Dragon and the Janitor, both can get mean and will bite.

check out the link - they had a euneek suspention - was neat to watch it work

just picture being able to drop a zj down low on the freeway with a air dam -splitter on the front - it would increase milage greatly - and off road raising it up 10 or 12 inches with the air dam retracted to the bottum of the bumper -
cuple that with a ford front axle (OUT OF A 93 OR 94 EXPLORER) and electric lockouts and you would have the best of both worlds WITH SELECT TRACK TRANSFER CASE

Redleg 01-30-2010 11:33 PM

Claude, how about cat tracks on that Zj? Or those twin-screw, pontoons? Or spider legs?

RJ285 01-30-2010 11:35 PM

Very interesting car. I know of a company that is working on a hydraulic powered transmission in Dearborn. He's at least talking with the US military as of a year or two ago, possible even has a contract for em.

Redleg 01-30-2010 11:38 PM

I thought all auto trannys were hydraulic driven, can you elaborate?

RJ285 01-30-2010 11:43 PM

Hydraulic motor on the flywheel and hydraulic motor on the axle with accumulators and junk in between.

Redleg 01-30-2010 11:46 PM

Ok, so kinda-sorta like a tractor driving it's haydraulics off the pto then?

old dog 01-30-2010 11:46 PM

Where Is Yankee Springs ?
I`m Up Near Cadillac

RJ285 01-30-2010 11:47 PM

I assume. I saw the beast in a military hummer, but other than point out the main components, I'm not sure how it works together. It's supposed to be different than how the new tracters work with the hydro shift.
