Chatty crowd here this morning...
It is snowing lightly again here. It is barely freezing, so the worry of salt trucks hitting the road is VERY low. That is good as we just had two weeks of rain to clear off the road. My daughter and I [the hounds as well] where just starting to enjoy cruising around in the summer only, old Dodge iron.
Some banana bread on the counter and a pot of Joe fired up for you guys.
I am off to be useful.

Hey there Ollie

Spent yet another day training the new (used) beagle dogs for life with the nuts here in lovely NJ.

Had a swarm of these explode around my house and property. Googled termites, but they don't fill. The description. Any entomologist folks out there willing to suggest the varmints name, would be nice...

Tried mayfly, midge, botfly, flying ants, but nothing looks similar.
thousands of them flying around

NJT,
I have not seen those before...anyone else...?
With the freezing nights and light snow around here the insect "bloom" has been limited so far.

While it's snowing in Vermont, the lilacs are blooming around here. It's been wet and rainy all spring, so the morel mushrooms are going crazy. Yay, I really like them.

Morning all. Fresh Ph00, coffee and hot brewed tea for Claude - - none of this instant stuff for "the man."

Here is an interesting website you can try - - match up the pics to what you have. Flying Insects

Off to whip the bad stuff - - I am sure I can find some, like weeds in the yard, ants in the garage, too much "stuff" in the garage. Gotta have my ph00 first..........................

Thanks for the coffee Bob, I am leaving a couple boxes of those nasty donuts on the counter as soon as you leave......Don't want to hurt your feelings as I know you are trying to avoid them.
