Wink newsflash....

The one guy Sen. Craig refused to hit on......

glad you had some memories furball! ...and ya got to see santa! Keep them hopes up for more than coal this year......maybe HAT will take ya out to the olive garden....

I see ya over there, OLD DOG! just couldn't reply much by cell phone (still gotta check the emails though). Bruce, Pistol and Fronty still pinging off to far out places....wondered if ya all stayed home for three weeks, would the marital relations be off a bit?

fun with the French Canadians, mostly who would fall for tall stories or the jokes.
my hand puppet skunk did well under the edge of a tarp used for a windbreaker....... screams are a universal language.
being around such thick accents, I tried hard to understand them. I froze and stared at them to concentrate. my new nickname is "AL". short for Alsheimer due to that look of being totally lost... and they spoke perfectly in either language when food was around. Dress right and it isn't too bad. make a lot of new friends and promises to return, the cold doesn't even figure. (army gear sure helped though!)

come home to a 'cool' house. relay for outdoor wood boiler went (15 years old) causing pump , not to. luckily we built everything- propane back up kicked on (thermo is set at 55). out Mon morning to locate relay and motor or (gulp) pay the bucks for complete motor and pump. there goes my EBay profits....

ChrisR , your weather is just downright weird...wonder why you don't have pnemonia....

Wow, you must be out in the Berkshires somewhere.

Not too far from the berks, I was reading the round external t-stat we have outside the station, I don't believe it to be too accurate. The official low was 19* according to the local news, Merrimac N.H. is only 2 hrs from me, you working the power plant up that way? How did you make out with the air leak on your tractor?

Mornin, everyone. (yes, you too, scott...)

Bout to head off to Va so the doc can look at my wrist. I'll be out of pocket till wednesday night. I know no one needs me, but if something goes down, totallyrad, 04ctd, scott, and any of the mods has my cell phone number. gimme a shout if you need something.

Till Wednesday. Scott, you have the helm. Try not to destroy the place while I'm gone...

Relay? You must have one of the FANCY stoves then...?

Goofy weekend. After about 10 inches of snow Friday and Saturday, it rained all night Saturday night and all day yesterday. Then it all froze up last night with a couple more inches of snow this morning. Stayed in all day yesterday installing a new stove and some deep cleaning. Took a big venison roast and made some veggie/barley soup while I worked. Careful out there.

No, no. Merrimac MASS. I come out here about once every 3 months or so. We have a fire safety training business and we're in the schools quite a bit here. We just came from a NJ Juvenile Firesetters Conference where my business partner was delivering the curriculumn for the National Fire Academy, and I presented with a state trooper from Mass on interogation techniques. From NJ we came up here to Mass because we have an awards ceromony tonight for 2 kids here in town that saved their families from a fire in their homes, (Mass state's young hero awards).

Y'know Hat, if you'd keep that hand OUTTA that pocket, your wrist prob'ly wouldn't be sore!
<did I really just say that? LOL!>

Well, it snowed here last night... all 3 inches of it. Now it's raining. If they'd just left it alone instead of plowing it, it'd be all washed away by noon!

Coffee's good this AM, but the donuts are a tad soft.

Mornin' all,

Houston 43*F and sunny. Going to near freezing tonight. Plug in truck time again. Everybody off doing what they gotta do today. I'll be on rounds for a bit.

good, thanks, checking the lading pad for CIN's package.

HAT good luck on the wrist check. Maybe you got a carp in your tunnel there, or what ever that is.

Heidi, good ones today.
ChrisR, please keep the noise down.

Have a good un and be safe out there.
