Math Quiz

Use a calculator for this!!

Type in the first 3 digits of your phone number...The prefix, not the area code

Multiply by 80
Add 1
multiply by 250
Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
Add the last 4 digits of your number again
Subtract 250
Divide by 2

Whats your answer??

Because when you call a girls house that didn't give you her # , you get put into the "stalker" category...

Not very interesting at all....
if x is the first 3 digits in your phone number and y is the last 4 digitis in your phone number then:
(((80x + 1) * 250 + 2y) - 250) / 2
((20000x + 250 + 2y) - 250 / 2
(20000x + 2y) / 2
10000x + y

Sorry for geeking out.

Try this:
You're giong down the road @ 35 mph & you're heading East. The wind outside is also going East @ 35 mph. You decide to stick your arm out the window, will you be able to feel the wind?

No-- relative air speed is zero, thus no wind to feel.

But..... if you are going east at 35mph and the road beneath you is rolling west (like a treadmill) at 35mph, will you still feel the wind?

You do not feel the wind. Too many times I have climbed a long, hot hill on my bicycle with a slight tailwind. There is absolutely no wind to cool me off, all I do is stew in my own juices until the road changes direction or I get to the top.
Same with going with the wind on the flats or downhill, if I am going windspeed, there is no apparent wind on my face.

YES, you would feel the wind. Now if you were in a wind tunnel that would be a different story.
