Thumbs down Beware of Imposters...

At least with spray in bedliners.
I was told my bedliner on the stretched Mega was from Line-X. NOT.
Its all peeling off and in less then 25 min I have removed over 2/3 of it.
I stopped by the local Line-X shop before and after the removal. Turns out the bed was improperly prepped and some of it was paper thin. In addition to that I am finding all sorts of abuse like wear under this cheap spray on crap. I will post pix when I can get them downloaded. I have to pull the hitch rails and the aux tank to get it all out.
The folks at Line-X offered me up a nice deal to fix the dents and to re-coat it with real Line-X if I provide them the pictures of the poor prep.

I can do that.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Scotty, sounds like Line-x will take care of you on this.

I have Line-x in my truck bed and it holds up great. I will be taking the truck in to get over the rail line-x done next.

Yikes. I have been thinking about getting my drop in liner changed to a spray in. Thanks to your post I will be careful when finding a place to do it. Only reason I like my drop in is the ribs seem to hold the dirt bikes tires from shifting but I keep thinking about the dirt grinding into my bed under it.

For the do-it-yourselfers out there, I've found that a product called Grizzly Grip is comparable to Line-x. I've used it in both rolled on and sprayed on form in quite a few applications including truck beds and have been very happy with the results. Good people to deal with, very willing to offer advice when needed too.

Ok, where do you get it, how much is needed ( long bed, over the rail), and the cost? Thais, Baron

Everything you need to know is right here: Grizzly-Grip

Instructions, costs, advice and a phone number for the questions that aren't covered. Great people!

Get rid of it ASAP, it will destroy your bed. Rust just loves the conditions it sets up.

My dang camera was not charged up enough to transfer pix today. I will try tomorrow.
There are a few issues with the liner that was/is in the bed of the truck right now. I found water and dirt under some areas. I also found very little prep.
Compound that with super thin product and it makes for a mess.

I will take the aux tank and the hitch rails out when the garage is done. I also need to relocate my air compressor for the air bags...its going on the bottom side of the bed instead of in the bed. I may get the fuel tank sprayed in Line-X too.
All the bolts for the aux tank and the compressor are going to be stainless this time too.

As the guy at Line-X stated...prep is 90% of the job.
