Happy birthday Bob!
TOP- If you are rolling through, holler!
After yesterday's LONG day, used Comp time today and bailed at 1230. Took the Bride to see the the first Grand Daughter. Came home to a clean house, nothing pressing, short snort of adult beverage. Thanks Bride!

OK, be that way - - - coffee, ph00 are on along with a fresh pot of hot water for Claude's tea. I ate all the goodies at breakfast, so didn't bring any.

OK, OK, here's the Christmas spread. Cheeses, nuts, candies of all sorts, and of course the decorated sugar cookies.
Oughta put Bobby and me into some sort of an insulin crisis.
Don't feed it to the dragon. It'll kill him.
DW slept good again. I think the ACE inhibitor bradykinin storm is finally over. I know she's feeling better. She washed about half the dishes yesterday before she crapped out and took a nap. She made my lunch ( a collection of what food eats for the most part) before she went to bed.
Gotta go move a fiber optic cable in a conduit, without breaking the cable, all high work today. All this to make room for a ventilation duct in a heavy welding shop that should have been there before the fiber got installed. I'll look like a chimney sweep when I'm done. Hope the bone bender is open for business tomorrow.

Hey where is everybody. The goodies are going to last till New Years at this rate.
Knocked out the cable move in good time. Came home, cleaned up, and took DW shopping at her bequest. She's starting to perk up a bit. Skipped the handicapped cart and pushed her own around for about a mile.

Just made myself a nice omelette. The smell woke up DW and now she wants one.
Cold and lazy out today. Gotta bundle up and go find some scrap wood to tide me over till I can get a load of pine scrap from the truss plant.
Just ran the numbers. A ton of scrap wood at $20 replaces about 140 gallons of propane at $140. I guess that's worth the bother.

G'day y'all. It's a cool day down here, but supposed to be back to normal temps tomorrow.
Off to a pre Christmas dinner with friends.

31°, darn Chinook winds are melting what little snow we have. Company moved the server in the hangar Thursday so I brought in my laptop so I could have a computer and I used my cell for an internet connection. Well, Windows 10 crashed right off the bat so I reloaded 7 and Windows reloaded 10 and back and forth. On the phone with Microsoft this AM trying to keep 10 from reloading. Talked to some nice girl in the Philippians that help me through it. Some ghosts remain, but it hasn't tried to reload its self again, yet. Did make my life a bit more enjoyable in the hanger though. Scored a very nice old Marantz tuner and amp. Then last night I picked up a pair of Klipsch KG-4's.That should sound nice.

I've been doing some reflecting on my past year.
Exactly a yr ago this time I was sitting in the kitchen wondering what the Velcro rip was in my shoulder.
My wife walked in and off we went to the hospital.
Fast forward a bit. Torn pec major, surgery and then the infection, near death and my dead step dad came to visit.
Long haul that one was. Grateful.
Thankful and alive.

We had a houseful for out early get-together. Lots of eats, no fights, no yelling and only mechanics was a set of lower ball joints. I'm counting it as a check in the "win" column.
Just heard a muzzle loader shot next door. Think I'll wait a few minutes and be the nosy neighbor.
