Bear Warnings in Yellowstone

Authorities have recently issued new warnings regarding bears in Yellowstone National Park. Visitors are encouraged to wear loud clothing and items, such as bells, which will alert the bears, but not startle them. They are also encouraged to carry pepper spray to help ward off any attacks. Also, as both black bear and grizzlies are present in the park, visitors are told to watch for any signs of bear activity, most importantly bear droppings. Black bear droppings consist mainly of berries and roots and, occasionally, small varmint hair. Grizzly droppings will be brighter in color, consisting of bells, and smelling like pepper spray. ;D
