Batten down the hatches breakroom and storm shelter 02/24 to 03/02

-5 this AM. Sounds like the rest of you are pretty much in the thick of things. Our HUGE winter storm was a fizzle. Only got about an inch or less. The track shifted south and the Keni peninsula got it good. Been bright sunny days ever sense, lows +- zero and highs mid 20's to low 30's. Meanwhile up north, it's been a different story. High winds and blizzard conditions has kept a lot of our fleet indoors. Especially along the eastern part of the state.
Made some Alaska coffee and set out some yummy baked goods. Meanwhile the dragon and I are going to watch some old episodes of Leverage by the fireplace.

Yep, that is what I heard about the winters when I was up there, Cougar. Stayed one time on into September 20 before heading souith -
Got on the ferry with the rig on that trip, got off at each stop and waited for the next ferry - - gave me a chance to see what was around.
Hit snow on the mainland when I finally got off, but not too bad. Second time a bit worse - - left Sept. 10th and hit major snow thru
Glacier pass. Wow, each snow flake would knock you over when it hit you. Cars in ditches, motorcycles abandoned at the edge of the
road. Not fun at all keeping 53' of rig on the road. In the 50's right now in NC. Gorgeous out but chilly.

They tell me it was 90 back home yesterday. Could use some up here.

Grabbed some goodies and out of here. Have a great day. Busy one for us.

Bob

Went to sleep to the sound of the snow machines running last night. Got some great pictures of it all.
Put some ph00 and coffee on to brew, left some fresh baked goods - - the blueberry muffies were
very good. Have one.

Grabbing my ph00 and off to have some fun. .....................

Hey Coug - - - are we the only ones left posting on here????? Where is everyone? Miss them.
Since it is just you and me, I got the Kuerig coffee pot our and made a single cup of ph00. Did
not bring anything with me to eat. Just to say hi and see what is happening in one of my favorite places,
Alaska.

Heading home Sunday and get warm. 90 degrees again. A bit early for that stuff.

Opened up the doors and swept out the cobwebs...found the dragon cowering in the corner and booted him outside, hopefully that will cheer him up a bit. Washed the pots and pans and put on fresh coffee and phoo in case anyone shows up today. Fresh baked goodies on the counter come and get them while they are warm!

Hey Scotty - - glad you are home, but probably not as glad as you are. Behave yourself and keep the weight on the bar under
500 pounds - - - you hear me?????? Be good and praying for solid healing for you.

Got fresh coffee and ph00 br00ing, hot cinnamon oatmeal on the stove with raisins and brown sugar available. OJ, grape
juice, sprinkles for LEGGS and others. Heading for the gym. More snow due Saturday night and Sunday. That might be
fun getting out of here - - due to leave Sunday morning and head to the warm sun and beaches of home.
