Those ford guys are REALLY touchy.... I responded to a post over there about the different possibilities for engines if the 6.4 turns out to be a flop... , went to check the post , and I got this message:

I sent the administrator an e-mail inquiring as to what happened...

If the Ford guys came over here and started posting just to stir up trouble, they'd be locked out just as quickly.

Excuse me? I take it you have not read any of my posts over there then , so you wouldn't know that I Joined and posted this summer looking for help with an 05 PSD that the crew was having ALOT of trouble with. If you want to accuse me of causing trouble over there i'd like to see some proof. I responded to a legit thread about real possibilities for engines IF the 6.4 doesn't pan out.

 

I don't go over there so I really wouldn't know.
I just assumed (Yeah I know ) that it might have been another "Dodge guys harassing the Ford guys in their own backyard" situation as has happened so many times in the past.
I appologize if that's not the case this time.

I'd be curious as to their reasoning behind denying you access.

I signed up over there on account of I have a cross-breed truck and sometimes need info about the Ford part of the equation.

Old hands that have out-migrated from there call it The Drama Stop for good reason.

There are a certain few flamethrowers that never have anything constructive to say; but, they just lurk around to jump down anyones throat that does try to be of some help and ridicule what they say, or shoot it plumb out of the water.

The moderators will blatantly ignore their behavior, but just love to come down on someone for making a statement not in agreement with the "in" crowd.

All of the real knowledgable ones have started a site of their own that is a lot more friendly and informative.

I have visited that site maybe 3 times in my life, afterwards I asked myself why I wasted my time. Poorly designed, poorly run, uneducated members.

Before I bought my '04 I was a frequent visiter at TDS. But only in the '94-'97 forum. Even then, the newer forums were a bunch of bickering one-up-manship type postings. If you had anything older than a '99 PSD or a Dodge or Chebby, you were lower than whale poooo. And even if you had the golden '99+ PSD you got attitude.

You want to do some good reading there, check out the towing section. Those guys live by the max weight ratings.

If you stop off for a 1/4lb'er and don't use the rest room before you leave mickey's, you are over weight. And then your truck will cause all sorts of damage and death to others.
