I never worked in fast food. I did work at CompUSA in the mid 90s.

I didn't even realize the computer/cash register could calculate the change for the first 6 months! I was doing it all in my head and doing just fine. The drawer was almost never off, and it was used by three or four different people in a day.

For me Aleave works much better than Advil (Viox worked great, too bad about that)

Vicodin..... lay on floor up against couch or chair.... put legs on the chair so that you are in a sitting position, only laying on the floor..... seems to help sometimes.....

SIotwo and beagle one

I agree with siotwo on most things, The instructors would allow you to bring in a notecard as many of you have already stated, but why use the notecard when u have the calc infont of you? It dont make sence, I got up to calc II in college, and said no more, physics was nothing but equations, trig was nothing hard except for the identities, making one equal to the other, that was more of a game or remedial class than difficult. Besides in a classroom with many students it is known that calcs are used and for these purposes as well, if you are allowed the reference in a notecard, then why not a calc? Most of these classes i made A's in regardless, Tirg, college algebra and cal I I made A's Cal II, gen chem I and II i made B's so with or without the calc i would have passed, and my current job involves alot of math and minimal engineering so i can attest that i know how to do those equations and figure things out, Many of you wonder evolution class, well, simple for hardy weinburg calculations you need a calc, due to working with logs and natural logs, and u need to learn equations for selection IE freqiency dependance and several others such as ressesive dominance etc etc etc.. SO it was a handy bugger, NOW it is tougher that they dont allow GRAPHIC CALCULATORS IN SOME CLASSES.. they made that a standard now in the university and it will be enforced this semester.. so luckily time and graduation are on my side cause for entemology and mammalogy, you only need basic statistical analysis, oh by the way i took that class too, EASY A!... i reccomend it to anyone and trust me like technical writing YOU WILL USE what u learned in that class.. Call me a cheater, call me what you like, but i know i understand the stuff and i learned it as well. I just see myself using what i already have to my own advantage... To those of you who have more dedication not to use them.. MORE POWER TO YOU ALL!! im happy for yall!

can they make change for a 10? anyone with basic math can do that.. but the girl (teeny bopper) at the McDonalds gave me back 5 dollars for change for an eight dollar total with a ten dollar bill.. again i ask who needs the help??

I agree with the point stated that many basic courses should not need a calc, the calc should be used to check your answers only, or guide you, BUT EVEN THEN you gotta be smart enough to PROPERLY KNOW HOW to use the calc.. otherwise it is of no use to you.... Like Begle said, understanding WHY it gets that answer and not just HOW will completely explain to you whether you learned it or not... I rest my case i still will and do use my calc.. but i have the know how to back it up.....

Best of luck i shall be quiet now..

Tx

'nutther back relief, on back, flat on floor, legs streight out, arms at side palms down. Then press the curve of your spine as flat on floor as you can get it, hold it 10-15 seconds. do 15 times.
Before bed, glass of warm milk, with a spoon of honey. Calcium in milk is a muscel relaxer, milk has the same enzime as turkey. It will help you sleep.

Gud luk on test.
