Anyone know how to install a viper auto start system on a ford freestyle? I got one for my wifes christmas present, but the install date is set for jan. 18...thats almost into warm weather!

if I can figure out how to install it, I would like to try and get it done before christmas.

let someone who has done many do the install. you will more than likely (95% sure) you will need a remote start module (aka key module since it has a chipped key). for that very reason is why i HATE remote starts. this module tricks the ECM into thinking the key is in the rig at all times letting the viper start the car without any issues. this is the very module thieves are using to steal cars. just my .02
