The high pressure over the mountains will help. If this can push closer to the coast, the storm will slow. There are winds out of the north on the east coast...this maybe causing the storm to weaken, but will also reduce the chance of it going further north....I will remain chanting.....turn north, turn north, turn north.........

 

I'm watching it as close as I can, from the left coast. I have a lot of chickens back home in Virginia that need to be cared for if this thing hits Va. I have 2 coops and 3 tents (separation coops for breeding) that may be blown away if sufficient winds exist by the time it hits West of Richmond.
The only good thing I can see at this point is the truck is in the garage. ;D I just hope the roof stays on the garage, and the house too. :
