We are looking to buy a home there when we retire. Having not been there in 5 decades I don't really know what areas to look at. We want something rural, in the mountains on 5-20 acres. Hopefully somewhere that doesn't have a drug problem as I know that can happen in some rural communities. We are by no means rich and we aren't looking for a big house, the idea is to downsize in our old age. lol. Anyway if anyone can offer some advice or point us in a direction to look I would appreciate it.

If you know of any drag strips in the area that would be a bonus.
