yeah I read that today. If I was retired I'd consider it but other than that what do you do for work? Commute 2 hours to fairbanks everyday? no thanks. unless you get a DOT job there. I drove there one day to check it out. There were about 15 or 20 houses and everybody stared and waved as I drove around the little town in the middle of the woods. It actually looked like a campground or something from the movie "deliverance"

What direction and how far from Eagle River is this place? Is it North of Wasilla still?

yeah its north of eagle river and wasilla. and north of cantwell Its off the parks highway about 75 or 80 miles south of Fairbanks or 20 miles south of Nenana, then you turn on another road and drive about 6 miles off of the main highway

It made it on CNN. Theres a bunch of people camping out at the post office in tents sleeping bags and bon fires, with 20 below temps, and phone has been ringing constant for 3 days......
