Air suspension on 93 Olds
Just wondering if anyone knew anything about these systems.
I've got a 93 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight with the air suspension. It's been unplugged since I bought the car. If you plug the compressor in, it just runs nonstop, even with the key off. I'm just trying to figure out where to start looking. I'm kind of thinking either a relay isn't kicking off or a pressure switch.
Any ideas?

the tilt sensor on the rear axle is good spot to check-also feel around the cyl head of the compresor for leaks when it is runing. on some a psi switch is installed-if any leaks happen the comp will continue to run
When the comp runs does the car raise? good airbags? leaky line?

Jack the rear end up and see if it stops. If so, suspect the tilt sensor linkage misadjusted. If not, the linkage may be damaged or missing. Easiest place to start. Next check Bio's sugestions. After that a service manual is in order; you might find a good one at your local public library.
I don't know if it raises. I just plugged it in once. Haven't really looked in to it at all yet. Just wanted some ideas on where to start.
I'll start with what you guys suggested and see what I find there. Thanks
