We had a supervisor at work that liked to turn his windshield washer spray nozzle to the side and he would spray people when drove by. Well, when his truck came up to be serviced, I got my evens. I hooked up his window washer hose under his steering column pointing at the seat. The next time he went to spray someone he got a crotch full! Said he had to pull over he was laughing so hard.

I've worked around those pranks for a while. They are funny if it wasnt such a hectic program. I would keep record of what all went on, and keep that note. Present it to the instructor and say something witty like "I finally found her...I was so worried" or "wow, you sure got me." Then, at the conclusion of the program when your job is secure, report it to his boss, his bosses boss, and a friendly note to the director of the program. You'll have dates and times of the incident, the note, and hopefully a confession from the instructor when you confronted him in a joking manner.

Unacceptable behavior, but you have to know when to strike back.

In fact, I would go up to him, laugh, hold up the workbook, and say something like "You guys really had me going", and the just walk away. If he done it.....he knows that you know.

If it continues, I would go higher up, but have all communications in writing or on tape for further reference.
This is good advice. Confrontation is a no win at this point. It is a small world. Keep yours eyes and ears open, you will get a chance to make amends after the class and you are employed. This person has made his first mistake with you. And even if there is no recourse after, you have developed more character. Something you can't buy. Everything happens for a purpose. Karma is at work right now.
