79 Bronco

Hey guys,I figure one of you off road guys will have some imput on this
I've got a 79 bronco and the 9" kept getting fragged so I put a Dana 60 in the rear, and I'd like to convert the front to 8lug wheels and keep the smaller brakes,or change the rear to 5 lug and keep the drums...any way to do that?
(cheap is the word,I'll use two different kinds of wheels if I have to)

Convert the front to eight lug. You should be able to get parts from a junkyard.

Thanks t-boe
I'm thinking I'll just run the half ton frontend till I need new tires,I've got
38/12.50-15s for it,and they are new so I don't want to change to the big ol' 3/4ton brakes. (15's won't clear the Calipers I don't think)

Steel 15" wheels will usually clear a 3/4 ton Dana 44 caliper, with a little grinding work on the caliper. Aluminum 15s may clear, depending on the backspace, but usually they will not fit.
