6.0 accessory

I am not sure if THIS belongs in here, aftermarket and accessories, or the 6.0 forum.
If it doesn't leave a few drips from the blow-by it's not a real diesel anyways. ;D

DB

Unfortunately for the 6.0 (and their owners) it isn't from blow-by....it's a seal. The rear main I think.

I feel sorry for some of those guys.

Read about it on one of the other sites.....yep, it's the rear main. Even those with no other problems are complaining about it. Most of 'em say that it leaks just enough to wet the bottom of the bell housing... :-[

Re:6.0 accessory

My wife wants a truck after she drove my cummins for a month. We test drove all the trucks and she liked the ford. I must convince her to go with the cummins. I need suggestions on why she needs a cummins.

IF it's a Ford *diesel* she thinks she wants, just steer her to one of the MANY "horror story" Ford threads on the new 6.0's -

Exactly the reason I didn't buy one. Last thing I need is my truck into the service all the time. Ford sucks at giving dealer support also.

Re:6.0 accessory

She just wants the full crew cab with short box. I wont buy another gas motor so I am stuck with a diesel. I will work the issue with my wife. She makes more money so she usually gets what she wants.

Re:6.0 accessory

Tell her after driving it for a couple weeks and she changes her mind, it will be too much of a loss to trade it in.
