42 Ford Pickup

I'm helping a friend put a 1989 Ford Lincoln motor in a 42 ford truck. The lincoln had digital gauges in the car. Can we put analog gauges in the truck and have them work. Or what do we need to make analog guages. We are using the sending units that were on the lincoln and putting after market gauges. Thanks

I would doubt that the factory Lincoln sending units would work with aftermarket gauges but I can't say for certain. Why not just use the aftermarket sending units that are designed to work with your aftermarket gauges?

Thanks for the quick replies. We wanted to use the factory plugs on the motor. We found a place that will make a wire harness for the ford cab. So, what you are saying is to replace the factory sending units. Do you think they will be able to use the factor wire harness on the motor?
