Don't rely on the overhead reading. Towing my trailer it says that I'm getting around 18, but I actually get around 14. (I have the Cummins, don't know about the Hemi.)

You know, I often wonder how Daimler/Chrysler makes their CAFE requirements? It seems the entire lineup of vehicles gets horrible fuel economy. My wife's little gas Libby is a joke.

I had a 2005, 2500, 4X4 Quad Cab, HEMI, normal daily driving, 13 to 13.5, hauling and towing, 9.5 to 9.5. I saw 16.0 once.

My wife has a 1/2 ton, and we see 10-11 pulling 2K. But it's got the power, for a gasser.

i have been around a 6speed 3/4 ton hemi SL single cab long bed 4x4....

Talk about fun! slamming through 6 gears...every gear had me pinned to the seat. too bad this friend of mine screwed up the G56 and didn't have a 3rd gear for a while......

he got 12 on a good day. He had an intake, exhaust, and 245 tires at the time....now with 285's, i don't want to know his mileage.

A guy I work with has a hemi powered 03 2500 4x4 QC auto. He told me he gets 13, but his son told me he gets 11. He's taken it to FL a couple of times and I remember him saying he got 16 going 70-75.

I'll keep my Cummins.

At best in my old HEMI I got 84.3 (downhill in neutral) but really I rarely seen past 13 , and it was a 1/2 Shorty. But man you wanna talk about something that was fun to drive.
