12 Volt Aux Fan
I am looking at replacing the fan on the back of my polaris's radiator and solving the overheating issue. So...
Looking for a good 12 fan (about 10" x 10")...
Who's had good luck finding a powerful one, one that actually comes close to performing like they claim (high cfm rating).

find one off a street bike or similar. automotive fan may draw too much current for the electrical system and cause more than an overheating issue. find a motorcycle junk yard or online and get a fan off of a CBR600 or similar bike. should be good to go
I have dual Procomp 16 inch S blade fans on my truck and they move a lot of air.

This small 10-inch draws 4.5 amps. @ 12 volts.

A motorcycle junkyard is a good idea.

Are you sure the fan is the cause of the problem??
It could be a thermostat, plugged radiator, leaking head, bad temp sensor, bad fan relay or maybe even some other fairly minor problem.

Positive.... Took the fan out connected it directly to 12v source.... nothing...
I think I'll run a small 10" fan directly mounted on the radiator...
Thoughts?

Just make sure it don't draw more current than the charging system can supply.
I assume that an ATV is like a bike and has almost no charging system output to spare and nearly zero output at idle.
(Many bikes have low wattage headlamps and will not support a standard 55/65 watt headlamp for example.)
