Nice pics of the dam Heidi, and thanks for the lesson. In the pics sure doesn't look that tall. Nothing to gauge it against I guess. Always interesting to see what "man" tries to do to tame nature. Sometimes it works sometimes not.
Snowing lightly here and cloudy, temps dropped a little but only a few degrees so it's still not bad. Might have to get the shovel out if it keeps up.
Scott/ Claude don't know which one pushed the button on the coffee but it's got some flavor this AM. Why does the brush in the corner look cleaner than it did the other day?
Off to church check in later.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I have been missing most of the week. Been gone, and busy with holiday stuff. Got a lot going on still.

Wow, sure a bunch of people who didn't get out of bed today - - or they took off before checking in for coffee or that stuff in the other pot - - 
Absolutely gorgeous day down here today and this evening is even better. Been outside just soaking it up. Guess we will get a little cool snap on NY day. Another year about wrapped up - - amazing.
Heidi - - diving with the Manatees is an amazing experience. They are sooo huge yet soooo gentle. They will come up to you and roll on their back so you can rub their belly. They are just as curious about you as you are them. We have several rivers that are great for that in the winter.
OK, I am out of here - - grabbed the foo foo
and be gone.

finishing up repair work on my one of a kind electric motor (should be a jeweler) want to stay home but have people to see. keep forgetting it is holiday, trying to subdue a noisy refrigerator (taken out of the boat- it was loud) short of shooting it, not much places to rubber gasket. (frowning)
