Nuther monsoon rain last night. Better go put pontoons on the RV today - - sure not going to get it out. Rain projected daily for the next 7 days. Man, I gotta get that thing out - - we take off in just over a week. GGGRRRR
Loggers , that work in swamps use what they call mats , they are made of rough lumber and can be set down one in front of the other , if you put some down & get it up on the mats and as you move forward pick up the ones behind and put down in front you can get it out !
a lot of work ,however it will work & is cheaper than the damage you may cause trying to drag your rig through the mud .
just a thought .

THE BOSS JR is spending the night, so grampa gets bounced to teh couch again, guess Ill stay up and play on DTR awhile..

Then spent 3 hours on the highway tonite with 30 miles of backed up traffic for a trip that normally takes an hour. 
Seems as if some dimwit crossed the median and plowed head-on into a tractor trailer, which then took out 3 other cars. 1 dead and 1 seriously injured.

We have been deluged since the last hurricane went up the gulf. It is not unusual to get 2 - 3 inches in one hour. Tampa had 5.5 inches in one hour last week. I parked my fiver on a flat space on grass last Monday. It poured 5 inches over night and 8 inches the next day. Wednesday you could not see the bottom of the tires - - buried in the mud. It has rained every day since and it is pouring right now. Just came in and the roads were sheeted with water - - had to take it easy. Our pond at the ranch is now flooding the and house is surrounded by water. Barn is about 8" from having water come into the floor. Yet the stupid coyotees sit in the water about 75' from the porch and just watch waiting for a cat to come out. Well, two of them are not longer waiting as of Tuesday night. My daughter tooks lessons on the pistol and nailed two and her neighbor got 5 more the same day. In spite of all the rain and flooding they are coming close to find small livestock, a baby pig, guinea hens. The panthers took down a 1 week old calf about 50 yards from the house a week ago. Been very active out there lately.

Hey you buzzard - - good to hear from you. Put the hot water on for ya. Yep, been there and done that. Got a total of 14' so far doing just that. The mud is so soft and slippery it is a fit trying to stay on my boards. I will re-tackle the problem Monday morn with 3/4 ply under the truck and 8" boards buried down to the buried tires creating a ramp to bring it up slowly as it creepes forward - - - at least that is what it says on the drawing board. We will see - - gotta get that sucker out. Can't use a wrecker - - don't have hooks and he will tear the front end off. GGGRRRRR
Chris, nice pics. Looks like "Jr" is right at home on that horse.
Saw an interesting accident this afternoon but couldn't get a picture of it before I got by. A Ford F350 dually pulling an enclosed GN crashed. The trailer was laying on it's right side and the hitch was supporting the truck, by holding the rear tires about 2.5 feet off the ground. In the rear window of the truck.............a "for sale" sign.
I hate somebody crashed but the set up was just funny.Evening all!

She's more at home on that horse than her momma is.. been sitting on one since she was brought home from the hospital.. her daddy is learning to train colts and just finished farrier school... he got her a horse before he bought a car seat...
