UHHH, I think it is bedtime, Bark old buddy. You have had enough for today and can't stand anymore. The day has obviously been a strain. Nighty night. .....................

And speaking of that, think I will hit the sack also and watch some more football.

Anybody remember what you can get away with using in the older (1970's) Monarch dyna-ramic snow plow pumps?

And which one of you jokers put the extra bottles of fluid behind the seat in the first place.
There are also some belts that dont fit anything, a Buick owners manual and seven old spark plugs.
Fixed it for ya.

If ATF is spec'd, they usually mean Dexron. That old junker will run on beer if it stays above freezing. Throw an ounce of nail polish remover in it to swell up the seals.

Thanks! I was already leaning towards the Dexron. I am pretty sure I cant hurt it since overheating the pump is not an issue.
I still cant figure out what the other stuff was doing behind the seat.

You are right. It was such a nice day that I may have overdone it. I was still washing a car at 2200 and it was dark out. It will be interesting to see what it looks like in the morning.
Wonder if it was even my car?

Morning all.

Fly-by this morning. Waiting for a conference to begin momentarily. No time to do history but PLEASE remember all who were lost on this date back in 2001.

Bark, Dexron only in those pumps. What jmartin said about nail polish remover to swell seals is sound advice. Brake fluid works too. I'd wait and see what leaks first tho.

Later.

But he put a DOT bumper on it. I wonder how he lowered the headlights enough to pass.

You wouldn't care about the leaky seals any longer.

Morning all. Can't wait for 1800 today. I get to take my bride of 13 years out to Flemming's for dinner. Last year she was out of town on our anniversary. This year I was suppose to be but thanks to a couple hiccups by other folks work was postponed for another week so I'm home as well. Steak and lobster here I come.

Really?? I thought he was kidding. I have a big bottle of Acetone.
The seals arent leaking very much so its not much of an issue but it now seems happy topped off with the Dexron.

Something I have learned: Do not compare the lobster to a giant cockroach in an attempt to keep her from ordering it.
It just winds up costing more in the long run.
Capturing a live cockroach prior to the meal to use as a demonstration model will just add more to the bill.

Happy Anny T!

Cooler days are here. Calling for frost on Monday but we are in the rollercoaster of change...high winds, cool nights and some days we reach for 90F. Still lots of opportunity for nice warm fall days.

Got some trips and loads lined up in a few weeks, running the bus tomorrow for a few days with university football, then junior triple A hockey, then off for a few days.

My wife has not been doing well lately. Had some tests and biopsies done, so far no news. She has a surgical procedure on Monday and I will be home for her on Mon and Tues. My gal has never once said she is exhausted or even close until these past few months.

I am the pillar.

Something spilled in the Ph0o0 when the lights went out at oh dark thirty. Bobby will let us know if was reactive or not.

Enjoy the day, hours minutes and seconds folks.
