G'day folks.
All is a good as can be here.
Father Inlaw is back in the hospital. Poor guy is fighting infection with his diabetes interfering.
Work is good.
Family is good.
I am good.
Stay safe and sane.
Well, at least stay safe cuz the latter is not attainable by some of us.

Morning folks, or should I say afternoon. Here I sit at work doing nothing because they want me to be here just in case. Raining like a broken fire sprinkler around here today, no way anyone's going to go flying in this.

Our weather is amazing. I am less than 80 airmiles from you and the sun broke through and there is no wind or rain.
However we are surrounded by clouds. Its like the eye of a hurricane.
Pigeons are for eating.
Also, I tried to get a carrier pigeon to carry a cement block for me.
I never saw that lazy pigeon again.
Glad you cleared that up for us.

I realize that this might be a somewhat difficult concept to conceptualize to an Alaskan, but pigeons are generally accepted as carriers of MAIL and short written missives,NOT CONCRETE BLOCKS!Everybody knows that concrete blocks are unrefined bed liner material.Or in your case...........SHREW encapsulation.neener neener

That sucks. For every door that closes thats one less door that can hit you in the butt.
Hope this storm doesnt slam you guys too bad.
It worked out ok anyway since I got my wife to carry them.

Morning. Up an' at 'em people!
TUESDAY, AUGUST 28th:
1609 - Delaware Bay was discovered by Henry Hudson.
1830 - "The Tom Thumb" was demonstrated in Baltimore, MD. It was the first passenger-carrying train of its kind to be built in America.
1907 - "American Messenger Company" was started by two teenagers, Jim Casey and Claude Ryan. The company's name was later changed to "United Parcel Service."
1939 - The first successful flight of a jet-propelled airplane took place. The plane was a German Heinkel He 178.
1963 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his "I Have a Dream" speech at a civil rights rally in Washington, DC. More than 200,000 people attended.
1995 - The biggest bank in the U.S. was created when Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank announced their $10 billion deal.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Practice makes perfect, so be careful what you practice.
GREAT coffee this morning. It'll go wonderfully with the donuts with bacon sprinkles!

Now there's a twist I ain't yet heard of....bacon sprinkled donuts. Crazy stuff in the food world these days. It just gets weirder every year, especially at the State Fair of Texas.....fried pickles, fried ice cream (don't ask me how that works cuz I don't know), heck, even fried butter!!

Beautiful day today, got the hangar door open enjoying the sun. All the flight crews have scrambled and I'm here all alone. Nice quit day. We have chocolate covered bacon at the fair among the culinary delights.
