Another day more money spent. Story of my life DCP fixed my injectors under warenty just had to pay shipping both ways which is cool because they were out of warenty by three weeks.
Order the install kit from Genos $159 shocks $219 back ordered.
Everything should be here Monday so I get get my truck back together.
I believe I've messed my left knee up again after steeping in a hole it burns everytime I bend it.
Oh well enough whining back after something

Huggs to those who need them.
Thought I had a good cactus story but I lose!
My younger brother did manage to roll though a prickly pear garden when he was streaking at Montana State. He might be in the running....

Evening yall.
Happy Thanksgiving Sean. Eat all the turkey yet?
Mad congrats on class and being one step closer to that degree.
JWBM, condolences and a big warm hug.
Bob sorry about your shoulder. Hope it can be fixed up and you'll be out of pain soon.
Lary, your ears shoulda been burning Sunday night. Were they??
I'm up and kicking, back to my roots, remembering me and realizing me was really cool. Small town Friday Night Lights. Driving the backroads on a cool Fall night with the windows rolled down. People actually complimenting me truck because they know a good truck when they see it. Things are moving in the right direction, slowly. But that's what I need if that's what's provided. No final destination yet but the ground work is being laid. Can't wait to see where it goes.
Oh and yall don't forget to change out the air filter on your trucks. Mine is much happier on a new one than with 20k of dirtyness
Having a Chrysler Dodge tech sister with a parts discount is great bonus

Mark, sorry to hear about your son's racist experience. That sucks, but unfortunately that seems to be the way things are heading these days. Of course your president and Holder are not helping either in this regard. I get really mad when I read about some of the stuff they are doing to promote racism.

Fiver, your shoulder and arthritis problems sound awful. Prayers for full healing.
Scotty, poor boy. No sympathy for all your troubles when you were so good as to go and fetch water.
Like when I fell into that thorny hedge, my buddy thought that it was hilarious.
JWBM, my condolences on the loss of your aunt. If she was in pain and not leading a quality life at the end, then no doubt she is much better off where she is. Like Bob said, those left behind need to deal with the painful loss.
Shorts, nothing like country life. Glad to hear that things appear to be working out. Let us know the really good news later.
RR1, too bad about your knee. Hope that it is not as bad as you appear to think it is and soon back to jumping rope.
Today I finished painting my never ending wall. In total I think that I have used about 13 gallons of paint. Too much. Still have other touching up to do around in and outside the house, but they are minor compared to the wall job. Tomorrow am going to try and do as little as possible. Hey, a guy needs to be able to relax sometimes eh. It will not be total day of doing nothing, but what does need doing will not involve breaking out in too much of a sweat.
May everybody have a great evening and a good nights rest. Oh, it would also be a good idea to wake up on the green side of the grass.

Lary, I have seen the lightning blue eyes flash of the Stanimal when around aircraft! don't think for a minute he would not be leading the charge foraying into the element of hazard should a possibility of
excitement/intrigue/food/mechanical trouble be involved! snicker snicker

Hey all y'all, just a quick check in. I have been in Houston for work the past 3 days. I NEVER post online when I am about to head out of town. The internet still has bad places and bad people and although we are all good people, not all lurkers or searchers are.
It is really good to be home and it is also good to see all y'all have been safe.
I have mentioned a couple of times I am an IT manager. I tried to convince the folks in Houston that the email distribution list for the Texas part of our company / dept should be "All Y'All" in the email system. Most of them laughed and knew I meant it with respect but a couple didn't laugh and gave me dirty looks. I guess I need to mend a bridge or two to let them know that it wasn't meant with disprespect. A lot of leadership stuff in our company has moved to Alberta from Houston recently so there are some raw nerves. I didn't take that into consideration. Leadership would be so much easier without people
See y'all on Friday morning.

Evenin' All!
Figured I'd pop in again this week now that I have a computer to sit at for a few. Mama's back in school so I steer clear of the home office and HER computer.
Had a semi-productive week off. Mama wanted a snow-blower for this winter so after a search of the local CL i went and looked at one. They wanted $300 but since the elec. start didn't work (had to have that at Mama's request) and it idled like dookie I offered $200. The deal was done but when I went to pull start it, the cord snapped.
After some more talk with the seller, I took it home with me for NO money down and told them that I'd work on it this week and see what could be done to it then pay up after. Once I got the blower home and started in on it it only got worse. the recoil starter actually wasn't too bad to repair (I HATE those
things) but, I've NEVER even thought of electrical tape for use as a carb bowl gasket material but that's what I found.
A quick carb cleaning and rebuild and the thing would idle. Then there was the broken exhaust bolt in the head.... For once, a bolt extraction went off without a hitch.
Chased the threads in the head and that was all good then it was on to the electric start. the starter would spin but wasn't engaging the flywheel. I figured on a stuck bendix or the like but what I found was a starter pinion with NO teeth left. The local small engine shop had one for $28.
put it all back together and it runs like a champ! I still have to do a bit of sheetmetal massaging and adjust the guides/shoes but that's minor. in the end, I spent about $40 in parts and forked over $150 for the machine. Not too bad of a deal but a new shovel would have worked just as well.........
I also put some new shocks on the truck and installed a heated seat as well. It almost rides nice now and the heat is awesome! Best $55 I've spent in quite a while.
Pot of Phoo is on for any nightshifters. Enjoy!
