*** Not Your Mother's Breakroom 5/10-5/16 ***

BUT....

First and foremost, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Who have raised us, disciplined us, dressed us, fed us, led us, hugged us, taught us and when time was right, and even when it wasn't, left us. You are always loved.

Thanks Moms!

The rest of yous, coffee is on, tanker sludge in the right pot, twinkle fairly foo in the left pot. Sausage, waffles, ham, fruit and omlette station open.

Enjoy the day yall.

Hey Shorts, thanks for starting the breakroom. Don't be surprised if some members complain a bit because they do not know their left from their right, so will confuse drinks. Also, a certain non coffee drinker from the lower right coast will be looking for ph00 and you only made foo. Not going to ask how you managed to get the twinkle fairly (fairy) stuff.

The last few days down here in Paradise have been uncharacteristically HOT! Nice in the shade, but out in the sun, WOW! I can only take about 2 minutes before I start to sweat.

Heading up in your direction in two weeks and will end up not too far from you. Will be in the Harlingen area for a few days.

Still drinking my morning lime juice, but once that is finished, will taste some of the swill - er, I mean, the coffee you made.

See yuh.

Complaint from Paradise?

Reality check.

Shorts, thanks for the Navy special.

No way is that a complaint. Every day I thank God for my many blessings and for Him allowing me to be here. That is more along the lines of a comment that even down here in Paradise, that we appear to be following the changing weather patterns that are appearing all around the world.

When I first moved here (in 2000) we had very moderate weather the year 'round, but last year and this year already we are experiencing unusual weather. This is supposed to be the dry season, but so far already we have had more rain than normal, coupled with unusually hot days. Bear in mind that we are at an elevation of 6,000 feet, so consequently the sun seems to burn more and quicker. In spite of this, it is still wonderful down here.

Welcome welcome yall.

Scotty, no idea what's in a Denver omlette, but I'll throw some grass clippings in if that'll work?

Another LONG week ahead. Was supposed to assist with setting up one of the Moving Walls. Now looks like I might not be able to take off at all. Going to be a long week. All leaves cancelled for all of us.

I stopped by last night during my surprise overnight shift. Nobody around but the dragon, so I tiptoed out.

Good Morning, I was in here earlier but didn't feel good enough to make breakfast....didn't sleep well on that pile of concrete blocks I call a bed and that picket fence I have for a couch wasn't any better...finally settled in the recliner made by pre-cast concrete and got about a hour of snooze time lol

NOPE! All Military bases US wide are on increased alert. This info is public domain, so no worries about OPSEC. After the Texas shooting, things are tightening up a bit. As a Top level Supervisor, I had to fill in as we were ramping up. I had forgotten how much I liked being on an airfield at night. Up close to the UPS birds as they surged. Smell of JP-8 and burnt rubber. Aaahh!
Not like the good old days of F4's at full burner, but close.
