Happy new year! Made it to my day off. Sure am glad to see it. A lot of whiners on NYs day. Relax people!
A "taxpayer" was up in arms about this "health hazard", demanding Animal Control open up and come in to pick it up. I wanted to tell him his taxes are paying me Holiday rate to listen to him gripe about the circle of life. But I am a professional and acted accordingly. A previous caller cursed me out and hung up on me because she was angry her dog got loose. A few calls later a friendly resident called in and said she found a loose pup and was trying to find the owner. But no idea if it was going to be a reunion because Angry girl wouldn't let me get her info.
So, HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!

Picking up dinner Shorts?
Stan, I was doing fine till I hit Z.
All that rain we had froze as expected. Had to chisel my way into the truck this morning. Fewer slide offs than I expected on the highway. Traffic was very light though. I guess most people aren't bothering to come in for 1 day.

Good morning from Paradise. Woke up extra early for some stupid reason, so decided to get up in that I need to be on the road fairly early. Presume that many of you have an extra long weekend so are being lazy and sleeping in.
Coffee and ph00 are fresh and hot, so enjoy.

F is for fissures and fluid retention
G is for gas (which I'd rather not mention
H high blood pressure (I'd rather have low)
I for incisions with scars you can show.
J is for joints, that now fail to flex
L for libido--what happened to sex?
Wait! I forgot all about K!
K is for my knees that crack when they're bent
(Please forgive me, my Memory ain't worth a cent)
N for neurosis, pinched nerves and stiff neck
O is for osteo- and all bones that crack
P for prescriptions, I have quite a few
Give me another pill; I'll be good as new!
Q is for queasiness. Fatal or flu?
R is for reflux--one meal turns into two
S is for sleepless nights, counting my fears
T for tinnitus--I hear bells in my ears

Dental decay is still an issue.
High blood pressure is coming down.

Need to go out and cut up a couple more trees. Still got a few inches of snow on the ground, makes things a little slick. Not sure if I can get the trailer loaded out of a pasture with the amigo.
Have a cousin that heard from me over how she insulted my sister, for not visiting on our cousin's schedule. I put some numbers down for her when she started on me about it, and being told to either put up or shut up next time she wants to start complaining about me not visiting, was somehow as bad as what she did to my sister. Oh well. I still think it laughable that she tried using her boyfriend's facebook account to pull one over on me. I've heard her lines way too many times over the years.

Spent an amazing day getting absolutely nothing I had planned accomplished.
Computer locked up. Needed to restore 30 day old restore point. Plugged into an outlet in the basement(POP!) fixed...
Went to get primers I had ordered. Nope not in...Wrong guy...
Went to walk the wife's dog...ran off in the woods after something...
Think it's bath time. If I don't show back up my foot is probably caught in the drain. Send some help!

I had a shower so it's not nearly as ripe here now.
Even had a couple foul smelling gobs of crud wash off me.
Had some phamily ( not blood related) try and do their 'thing' with me for a third time. Strike 3 yer out. I'll wish them the best and carry on.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years. I did nothing and went nowhere. Kinda like my life's mission I guess.
Shorts, sounds like you're settling into your job quite nicely. I was never able to be polite to people like that 'lady' looking for her dog. Seems like there are more and more people like her appearing in this world every day. I don't know if there are more or if they were always here and are just becoming more vocal.
I've been keeping track of what my Outdoor Wood Burner uses for wood this year by keeping a daily log for every time I fill it. Interesting statistics I think. I get more heat out of it if I load it light as opposed to filling it to capacity. On average, it is burning one, 32" long piece of firewood for every hour of operation when filling it lightly. If I put 8 pieces into the firebox, I can get 8 hours before I have to re-load. But if I put 12 pieces in, which pretty much fills it, I still only get 8 to 9 hours before it's empty. I'd love to hear anyone's theories as to why it's like this!

Hi gang - - up early and been working on RV stuff. Just stopped for ph00 and back at it. Might have to feed my puss while in here if the blonde will stop long enough to fix it. Almost breaking a record high here today - - looking for 83 and 70 for a low. Sure nice but some scarce large clouds floating by to bring us some rain tonight and tomorrow - - sure, just when I waxed the car.
