does anyone have these tires? ive heard some really good things about them, and that they last 40-50,000 miles. the local tire shop has the 38x14.5x16 for sale for $290 per tire mounting and balancing included. is this a good price?

Some people I know are running them, they are a good looking tire and probably the quietest mud tire you will ever find. I have had many sets of toyo tires and have always been very happy.

I just picked up a set of 37x13.50x17's. So far I love them. Agressive and quiet.

I have only had mine for about 4k miles but I am extremely pleased with them so far. I am thinking about using the same tire on my Jeep as well.

They can't be any quieter than the Cooper Discoverer STT, virtually the same tread design.

Got both of my vechiles, wifes Chevy Tahoe and my Dodge 3/4 ton using those Toyos. I have them rotated on each rig at every oil change,{ a must to get peak mileage out of your tires} Which is included with purchase of tires at our store along with brake check and balance. Got at least 25,000 miles on Chev tires. and 15,000 on the truck. Been in snow going over Mt. Hood {and of course local snow}, hunting, and general driving. No problems at all, great in snow and seem to perform well in wet weather, my next set of tires will be the same. We are located in Prineville, Or. where Les Schwaub is the king of tires and currently his headquaters {soon to move to Bend, Or.}
Like I stated I will purchase them again. Just my 2 cents worth, good luck!

I like my 37 x 13.5 x17 Toyo MTs - especially the 4300# weight rating:

I just hope they last longer than 30K miles!

Yeah, we just switched from BFG A/T KO 315s to the big Toyos - they sure cost more, but it's a lot more tire!

I have the 295 Toyos on my truck. They are wearing down QUICK!!
I guess it would help if I didn't always have the Smarty on 9.

It is more than just tread on these there is supposed to be some kind of Kevlar in the sidewall or some other crazy technology that adds to the low road noise.
