Tires? 15" rims?
Ok, I've got 2 questions, one I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to-
1. Is it possible to fit 15" rims on these trucks? (see sig) I've heard of guys shaving the calipers and whatnot, just wondering what it involved.
2. wondering if anybody had suggestions for a good ~37x12.50x16 mud tire.
I would really like to pay less than $400 a tire, stick with the 16's and get decent tread wear (if that isn't impossible with that heavy CTD on top of 'em)
and yes the questions about 15's is because EVERYBODY makes EVERY size for a 15 rim, but not much selection for the 16's.
I'm looking to get a set of wider cheap 16" steelies, so changing size isn't out of the question.
Just thought I'd ask what you guys' thoughts/opinions were.
thanks

your getting pretty tight there going smaller.
Im not sure if you can fit a 15" or not, but consider, if you get a rock wedged between the caliper and rim, you will machine that rim open while driving and now you can do it with an even smaller rock.
I think it Toyo, they make some nice off road tires in sizes for upto 20" rims

No, you cannot fit a 15", no way, no how.
The "shaving" you have heard of is to fit the 2000-2002 aluminum rims on a pre 1994-1998 truck.
16" or bigger is your only choice.
