So.......

I have an 05 which admittedly has never been seriously off road YET!

My 98 gasser 1500 did quite well equipped with 285-75r 16's, 2" spring lift and 3.55 gears.(not great because of the poor gear ratio)

I have owned many Jeeps (my favorite), Nissans, Chevys, and 1 Ford, of various types and configurations.

What are the obvious weak spots that I should be aware of before I start building?

Rick

The biggest downfall I can think of is MONEY. These things cost WAY too much to go out and bang up. Buy a Jeep, they are more capable and WAY cheaper! I love my cummins, but until I find a way to stick a 4bt in my jeep I'll have a gas burning off road machine!

Hey Rick. Recently saw a CJ with a Cummins in it for sale in the CA truck trader. Best of both worlds
