Limit straps??
With a 4" skyjacker lift and 35" tires, do I need limit straps on the fornt or rear axles? I know on large lifts and xtreme off roaders they use them are there any disadvantages to using them on a daily driver/ rough road explorer?

I have them on my 2-1/2" lift. They can be a good idea if there is any chance of over-extending shocks and springs and causing damage. Cheap insurance.

they would have been nice on my 90 with 6" lift. First time I got the rear to near full droop I noticed the only thing holding the axle up was my extended (but not enough so) rear brake line. It was cheaper to get a longer brake than to do limiting straps, so thats the route i went. I'd say they can't hurt.

Don't forget they will protect u-joints from binding at full droop as well
