Cool!! I never would have imagined an off road forum here!!
Ok guys, let us all see what you guys are off roading with.....I really don't care what it is......what ever toy you use to leave the pavement and the beaten path!!
I'll start with my '80 CJ7 (see my sig...more pics in my gallery).....I have had it almost 13 years (the very first vehicle I ever bought!)and it has gone through many build ups.....this is the very last build up ....the only original Jeep parts left are the steering column and the speedo. I use it for all different types of trails but like the rock crawling best.

hehe!! I was just trying to be different with the colour this time around - it was black for years and just got bored with it.....it is actually a OEM Mopar colour from the 60's and 70's Mopar muscle cars called "Sublime". Cheap to paint and hides a lot of trail abuse/pilot error.

Here is my current off roader, well actually it is set up for truck pulling right now. Hopefully this truck will never see the trail again, as I have a 90 CTD that I want to get geared and locked for trail duty.
Here is a pic of how its set up for truck pulling. The front end is about 6" lower, the crossover steering is removed, and the swampers are traded for some BFG's. I also install a pulling hitch and suspension blocks when I'm pulling.
Its a 1975 dodge, with dana 60F lockrite, 14 bolt rear welded-4.10 gears, 440 powered, backed by a 435/203, 1350 joints. Headers, intake, 3" dual flowmasters with crossover. It runs pretty good for a gasser.

My rig is the one in my signature. Daily driver, locked in the rear, open front with extensive bracing, Skyjacker longarms that will eventually be scrapped for something with bushings, shackle flip, 39.5 trxus tires which have become a major pain, and soon a brand new paint job because this one doest like trees Hopefully soon I wil have enough cash to buy some coilovers for the front also.

My '99 TJ. In this pic, had high-pinion Ford 9's, 4.56's, Detroit/TruTrac, 35" Boggers. Currently low-pinion Ford 9's, 5.13's, Spool/Detroit, 36" TSL's
My '97 and '99 back-to-back. '97 had the low-pinion 9's in it before but is torn apart right now. Has a 5.0HO in it. Either getting Rockwells, or maybe selling it.
The axles I'm using for my next Cummins-powered buggy. 16.65:1 gearing, 19" discs.

After you have the picture files on your computer you have to upload them into your DTR gallery before you are able to put the pics in a post. Just go to "my gallery" and follow the steps to upload pics. I'm not the most "puter" savvy dude out there (learning something everyday about 'em)......if I can do it, you can do it!!

Here's mine. Started out as an 85 4Runner. I started cutting it up 4 years ago. It's all Toyota minus some sheet metal
It's got dual cases, FI 4 banger, welded diffs and some other cool stuff.

When it is finished it will have a rear pto for winch and farm tools, small lift, 700 non deractional tires, front and real locked, and maybe just maybe i will convert it to 12volt. I will have pics when i am totaly done, i am waiting on sheet metal and bar stock for the body. its going to be more of a mud rig, dont wanna mess up the body on rocks.

Right now I have an '81 Dodge Ramcharger that I bought off eBay a couple years ago. It is a total turd with a 318 2bbl, 15 inches of lift and 40" Swampers. I have very little money in it, which to me is the best to play with. You won't be completly heartbroker if she goes up in flames or rolls. She is deffinetly back woods engineering at it's finest...
