Diy sway bar end links

So I'm fed up with my maxx links end links. 2 sets within 35k miles. the 2nd set lasted less than 5k miles the rubber bushing split on both sets. The 2nd set was replaced by the complany for free.

so most kits that I'm seeing from small time names to big time company names are 100$ to 175$.

I need a stock length replacement. anyone have success in building your own with strong pieces with adjustability and maybe have rod ends.
even better if anyone did this and kept it under say 100$?

TopGunz custom had them on sale for $99/ shipped for $114...probably couldn't build a pair for much less than that so I picked up a pair. Great service, shipped fast.

Digging back a little here, but...
I made some rear link "adapters" to accept universal straight links. The links were available in several sizes for under $20/set at one of the chain stores, with poly bushings. I drilled out some 1/4" wall angle to bolt to the sway bar (this is on the rear) to get a vertical mount. One finally snapped the other day, but has held up for about 5 years now, truck has seen it all, not a pavement queen by any means.

I haven't seen any need for the ball joint ends, as long as the bushings don't get over tightened they will do their job and flex as needed, when needed.
