Carli Suspension Race Truck

Just thought I'd give everyone a sneak peek at the new race truck that is set to debut at the Baja 500 this June. Truck still has a long way to go since we work on it after business hours.

I will definately keep you guys updated as we make more progress. A lot of the truck is being TIG welded so it will take quite a bit more time than the MIG welded trucks out there. But it will look awesome when it's done.

Not wanting you to give away any trade secrets or information to the other side but what all is in store for it?

We will run the Baja 500 and the Baja 1000 this year as well multiple trade shows that is why we are building it to show caliber with TIG welding and things like that. There are a couple very unique things that are going on this truck as far as suspension and cage work goes. I will keep this thread updated as we make more progress.

Yeah same roof right now, though this week we're putting a new roof skin on so that we can weld the top of the roll cage.

That is THE biggest intercooler I have EVER seen! That looks like it would cool a Kenworth just fine! LOL

HaHa! that's actually the stock radiator. The intercooler goes in front of all that, but is just as big. It's pretty crazy how big everything is when you get all the sheet metal off.

That's CRAZY! My radiator doesn't even resemble that! Different colors, etc. When you pop the hood on my truck, you seen tranny cooler, intercooler, then radiator on the inside of both of those...reckon I am just misconceiving things here? Either way...can't wait to see what this truck does when all is said and done!
