Bubba rope
I don't know about that rope in particular but I do have a "******" type strap that is made to use kinetic energy, and it works excellent.
My father buried his 40 foot RV in the sand out camping and we pulled it out with one tug using an extended cab 94 Cummins. The trick is to leave 10-15 feet of slack in the rope and hammer down on the truck. When the rope gets tight, it transfers the momentum of the truck into the rope. The truck will come to a stop pretty quick and all the energy yanks on whatever you are pulling.
