Any Issues with Smittybuilt Winches?
 

They're significantly cheaper than Warn and some of the other name brands. Any issues with them that y'all are aware of?

i've always been a warn winch guy, but have been around about every brand, i think the smitty builts are next in line to a warn as far as build quality, and like you said are considerably cheaper, they have upper end winches i would not be afraid at all to own, but would steer clear of the base models, but we use winches pretty hard in rock crawling, so if your gonna just do a pull or 2 every now and then it shouldnt be a issue, these trucks are heavy pigs though, so be sure you get enough winch...to me the warn 8274 is still the king
