Pre-Made Rock Sliders?
I have searched and having difficulty finding pre-made rock sliders for 2006 Quad Cab rodk sliders. Can anyone offer advice where I can purchase rock sliders that are installed on the frame and not the pinch welds. Im also looking for sliders that can have steps attached to it for ease of getting in the truck. Thanks.

Have you looked at modifying a set of N-Fab bars? A piece of of small I-beam or C channel coped on one end and welded to the main tube, with the other end cut on an angle and welded or bolted to the side of the frame might make a good mount. There is a product called "ships channel" as well, that looks like a square tube that is missing one side. It is very strong. The angle cut is used to project the bars down below the rocker panel. Open sections like I's, C's, and U's wont hold mud/water/crud etc. when you go in mud and can be rinsed out. If you use one of those products and want it to hold a coat of pain, you will have to grind or sandblast the mill scale (blue in color) off the steel and then it should stick. We have to blast everything like that that we powder coat where I work to get good results.

Thanks jstone44720. Great suggestion. I was looking into buying one of Demello off road rock slides for the Tundra and retro-fitting it for my 06 truck. There rock sliders seem really stout. Has anyone thought or done this before?
