Well here in jersey we have a whole special inspection for a lifted vehicle. If you lift it more than like 2 inches I think it is you gotta go have a tilt test dont to see if it rolls over or not.

Technically any suspension modification in PA is 100% illegal

I didnt read the whole article, but i think it's funny that they just happen to use a photo of the truck that sheared the shock bolts from jumping as the cover picture for the piece... [duhhh]

If California mandated that ,there'd be a slew of Ca hate posts. Hopefully,it won't happen here.

Depending on the wording that could include the installation of Non-OEM shocks.

I personally don't lift my trucks, usually putting that money into stuff that breaks, plus a stock looking truck won't get pulled over nearly as much. But jeez, it's getting out of hand the requirements needed lately. I didn't know about the low tire pressure sensors required until the other day, one of our new trucks at work had a sensor go and it was like $200 just for the sensor?! Whoever makes these decisions needs to either get a life or start doing some serious drugs to slow the thinking process down.....this crap just isn't necessary. Majority of the population doesn't know how to drive safely as it is, and this type of controlling is not going to help that. Only one way to learn in my book, and hopefully nobody gets hurt in the process or tries to pull a 90 degree turn in snow at 30mph again... [duhhh]

On another note, don't lift your truck if you're not gonna use it. I see way to many lifted fords (primarily, chevys then dodges) around here that are nothing but show trucks. Never a dent, spec of dirt, scratch, broken part etc. on them, nice shiny 20" wheels and low pro's on them....I don't get it. [yuk]

Exactly.. I plan on keeping my 05 till the engine falls out. Then I'll replace it with another 5.9
