Questions about next months race
Evenin, #18...
2 questions... Friday is the test and tune, Saturday is the Dyno. What are the hours for us? Any chance of a test and tune earlier that day? Due to the fact that I have no local tracks here... and the ones that are close won't tell me nothin... I gotta run mine a few times to get it dialed in.
2... safety rules? Do I need to worry about drive shaft loops? Anything more serious than a helmet? Tech inspect? Or is it bring it, run it, and the fire truck is coming, it can run a 12sec 1/4 mile too...

Here they run with any helmet you can strap on. I have seen stupid jarheads with brain buckets on.
The track opens at 8pm. Be there at 7 and maybe the big guys can talk to them for a few minutes early.....but it's doubtful. I will head down this friday and try to grease some wheels.

1.) We need to be at the drag strip at around 7:30 P.M., possibly earlier. There is no drag racing before that, the track and facility is closed.
2.) As Nate already said, you HAVE TO WEAR A HELMET AT THIS TRACK!
There are no exceptions to this now. In the past, there has been no tech inspections and they have not required us to have driveshaft loops. As far as E.T.'s, in the 1/4 mile you CANNOT run faster than 11.49! Below that E.T., they require a full cage in the vehicle.
