Hey everybody, this morning I spoke to Ronnie Humphries (Owner of "Coastal Plains Dragway") about the possibility of rain ruining the drag race part of our event this coming weekend. I know that some of you have posted about this in our threads here and I have also had some calls about it.

Mr. Humphries told me that IF by chance we are "rained out" on Friday night that he would host our event the next day, on Saturday October 11th, 2008 beginning at 5:00 P.M. This would occur right AFTER our dyno event at "Waynes Dyno and Performance." Mr. Humphries said they already had an event scheduled there for Saturday, but could handle us after that event on Saturday night.

I want to SINCERELY THANK Mr. Humphries for agreeing to do this for us! For those of you that have not met him, I can tell you without a doubt that he is one of the nicest, most sincere persons I have ever met. In the past, he has ALWAYS been very good to all of our "Diesel Crew" out here in eastern N.C. and has always "welcomed us with open arms" at his track and I for one appreciate that very much.

So,.....we have a back-up plan should it rain on Friday.
